Seasonal Plates

My mom dabbled in ceramics for a bit. She even had a kiln for a while.

I could not even start in this post all the items she made.

At one point, she painted a set of seasonal plates and gave them to her mom as a Christmas gift. I don't remember what year it was. But I do remember the plates being displayed on the grandma's kitchen wall.

When grandma passed away, mom received the plates back. She displayed them on her kitchen wall till she passed.

That is when they became in my possession.

It has been 20 years and 4 houses that these plates have been displayed on my kitchen or dining room walls.
