A Quilt for my Mother-in-law

Within the first year or two of being married, I made this quilt for my mother-in-law. I found the pattern in an old magazine that I had been given. I don't remember the name of the magazine or the proper name of the pattern. All I remember is the pattern had the name "rose" in it.
I used scrap pieces of pink and red material for the flower patterns. (I know. Some of the shades that I chose show the pattern of the petals more than others.)
After we gave her the quilt, she spread it across her bed. And that is where it was always found. Even in the summer when it was too hot for a quilt, she had it nicely folded at the foot of the bed.
The quilt was given to her over 20 years ago.
